FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Do I need any of my own equipment before coming for a lesson?
  • Absolutely not. You will not need to bring anything to your lessons. We have drums, sticks, guitars, plectrums, everything you need.
  • If I do have my own equipment can I bring it to use in my lesson?
  • Yes, if you have drum sticks or a guitar you wish to use in your lesson, you are very welcome to bring it.
  • Should I have my own instrument at home?
  • This is completely up to you. You will progress quicker if you have instrument to practice on regularly. However, we understand that buying an instrument can be a big decision. If you decide at any point you would like to purchase an instrument, help and advice is always on hand from our tutors.
  • Do I have to come for lessons every week?
  • Again, this is up to you. You are welcome to come as frequently as you wish.
  • How do I know what length lesson to book?
  • This will vary depending on the individual. If you contact one of our tutors they will be happy to discuss this with you. If you start off with a 30 minutes lesson and decide it is too short you can always book a longer lesson next time and vice versa.
  • How can I pay for my lessons?
  • We accept cash or cheques. Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards.
  • How do I cancel a lesson?
  • Simply contact your tutor if you wish to cancel or re-arrange a lesson. We require 24 hours notice to cancel a lesson otherwise the full fee applies. No charge will apply if the cancelled lesson can be rescheduled for another day that week.
  • Can I come to the studio before booking a lesson to meet my tutor and have a look around?
  • Yes, you would be very welcome to come and meet us and have a look around. Please contact us in advance.
